RULES OF THIRD NOTES
- It is way better to take pictures not centered rather than the subject right in the middle
- this technique creates nine rectangles within the frame,ignore them
- you have to focus on the lines not the rectangles
- this technique is useful when photographing horizons
- the horizon is pushed up or down depending on the effect you want
- the closer you are to the subject the more challenging it is to apply this rule
- place your subject to one side of the center of the image
- some cameras provide a 3x3 overlay grid on the viewing screen to make it easier to use this rule
- this composition technique is a great way to improve your images
