youtube notes

Youtube notes:

-when you see a nice page its because the camera captured the light dell
-the exposure of a picture depends on the aperture ,shutter , and iso
-aperture is the opening of the lense
-the lens opens and closes depending on what your aperture value is
-the bigger the value, the more light comes in
-the smaller the value, the less light
-aperature value effected depth of field
-depth of field is how much of your image is in focus
-shallow depth of field means is only the subject in focus
-wide depth of field means everything is focused
-shutter speed is how fast your shutter opens and closes

RULES OF THIRD NOTES
  • It is way better to take pictures not centered rather than the subject right in the middle
  • this technique creates nine rectangles within the frame, ignore them
  • you have to focus on the lines not the rectangles
  • this technique is useful when photographing horizons
  • the horizon is pushed up or down depending on the effect you want
  • the closer you are to the subject the more challenging it is to apply this rule
  • place your subject to one side of the center of the image
  • some cameras provide a 3x3  overlay grid on the viewing screen to make it easier to use this rule
  • this composition technique is a great way to improve your images
